BIOLOGIC CORSICAN MYRTLE JELLY
For the Greek, myrtle was dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite. The shining blue colour and the red glints of the fruit correspond with its palette of aromas, from acid and profoundly fruity elements to accents of natural sugars.
The fruits are being selected between the local traditional varieties that are the richest in natural sugars and aromas. After a manual sorting by taking out the damaged fruits, they are minced and cooked in a cauldron with vapour, a technique that respects and preserves the natural aromas. The sugar of the fruits and the added cane sugar give this jam a total sugar content of 60%.
Tip: use as is, for breakfast or dessert, as an accompaniment to vanilla ice-cream or natural yoghurt or as an ingredient of a pastry preparation.

Since 2002, the family-owned company has also specialised in making jams from products of the Corsican land.
After various training programmes with the best jam producers, a gastronomic know-how has been adapted to our traditional recipes, inherited from our « grandmothers ».
Production started with a range of jams made with chestnut. Then, it was time to transform the best fruits of the Corsican land in our cauldrons, keeping as close as possible to the original fruit savours.
